Gosh, how I wish I would’ve started this months ago but here we are. I am at work right now, feeling tired and a little bored and I just got the feeling to start writing. So. here we are. I’ve been keeping a journal during my pregnancy but I want to really cultivate a sisterhood here on the internet and I feel lead to write more on the blog about walking into motherhood.
I am 35 weeks pregnant and found out yesterday that the baby is head down! Wow! Sis, it is getting real over here but I am feeling so grateful.
We are getting the last few things we need to survive and take care of the baby and although time is dwindling, I know we are going to be just fine.
We are just so calm and ready to become parents. God has given us so much peace. When we first found out we were pregnant we were shocked! I mean, kinda. We were trying but we thought it would take some time based off other couples were know tried for awhile before getting pregnant. We got pregnant our first try and from that moment we knew this was the timing the Lord had in mind for us.
I kept telling my husband Joshua that we will have everything we need and we would not want for anything. We have barely spent a dime on baby items, everything has been taken care of! Even the little things little man still needs, we have gift cards for to purchase the items.
It gives a new meaning to “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
Friend He will take care of you!
A couple weeks ago we had our baby shower and while we were unpacking the gifts, I turned to Joshua and was said, “We got so much stuff! But we are really going to need more diapers.”

The very next Sunday, I lady approached me and said, “The Lord is calling me and another sister to provide you diapers for a year.”
I wanted to laugh with gratitude because I couldn’t believe it! The Lord already had planned for provision in this area and again, provided a ram in the bush for us!
I say all of this not to boast, but to let you know I am not more special than you are. You, yes you, are also the apple of the Lord’s eye. What are you needing? What are you asking for?
The bible says when you pray you, you ought to pray, knowing that the Lord WILL and CAN do what you are asking Him.
Sis, watch how you pray. Pray full of faith and not full of fear!
Our God is holding you!
Love you sis,
Hannah
