Sermon Notes: From Managing to Miracles

"For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Matthew 16:25
"For whoever wants to save their life will loose it, but whoever loses their life for Me will find it."

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Notes/Thoughts

So many times we go through life and we are living day by day, paycheck to paycheck, just managing life

Although there is still joy and contentment to be found in these seasons, God wants to move us from managing life to seeing the miraculous happen in our day to day

HE IS FAITHFUL

How do we go from managing to miracles?

WE SPEND OUR LIVES!

What does this mean? It means that in order to not only see but be a part of what the Lord is doing in the Earth we have to give our lives away TO HIM

If we try to hold on to our own lives and control ever aspect, we will only be managing and loose it! But if we give our lives away to the Father, we FIND it and will see MIRACLES

As sons and daughters we are heirs to a wonderful inheritance from our heavenly Father and managing is not the life the Lord has called us to live. He has blessings stored up and miracles that we will witness in our lives but most importantly the lives of others!

What is God saying to me?

I have a while life ahead of you full of provisions, blessing, direction, and miracles! All I ask is that you hand over your life and trust me with it. I will order and direct your path and make it straight!

How can I walk this out?

No matter how good I am at managing life, God has something better for me!

How will I see the miraculous happen if I fight the will of God

When I hand my life over to Him, I come into agreement with the plan and the purpose that the Lord set before I even knew

Surrender and submit this week!
