What do you see? How is your vision?
When we don’t see clearly, our view of God becomes harder and harder to see
We have to stop thinking carnally. We are always exercising our natural eye when the Lord wants us to see clearly with our spiritual eye
Natural eye: I have a bill that needs to be paid but no money!
Spiritual eye: A perfect opportunity for the Lord to show up, a situation He already knew I would be in and provision is already there!
Natural eye: baptism is just us going under water
Spiritual eye: baptism is a for me to come into covenant with God and a literal act of all my sins being washed away
Are we seeing what is literally happening? Or are we seeing what is happening in the spiritual realm
There are always at least two different perspectives and Jesus is constantly trying to get us to see things the way that He does!
While things look scarce and stagnant, the Lord is at work, He is moving! Do you see it?
The enemy loves when we think carnally! He contributes to this by getting us distracted with worry and fear! He also will distract us from seeing our OWN shortcomings. We NEED the holy spirit to see clearly! We need the holy spirit to help us clean out what is not like Him. We can’t do that if our vision is off!
Example: If you are a gossiper. The enemy will get us to justify it when the word of God says that everything that comes out of mouths better bring glory to God and build up others! If we don’t see with a spiritual eye then we won’t stop gossiping since we would see nothing wrong with our actions!
What is God saying to me?
No matter what you, don’t forget that I am with you! I will help you overcome whatever is troubling you!
Remember the stories in the bible! Remember what I have done for YOU! I am able to do it again!
In the valley do you remember who I am? I am healer, savior, way maker, Messiah, etc.
Do not let the cares of this world keep you from seeing me in the fire with you!
How can I walk this out?
Don’t forget how close the Lord is!
Always see what God could be doing spiritually! There is always anther point of view and I want to see HIS
I was blind in sin until the Lord touched me! I walk in the freedom of that this week
It is okay if people don’t understand where I am going or the decisions that I make! All that matters is that I stay focused on what God is doing, eliminating the distractions, and keeping my vison cleared!
I can’t loose sight of what God is doing!
